The Jabberwockey by Lewis Carroll
Tasked with a recitation assignment for my Victorian Literature class, I chose to read the Jabberwockey by Lewis Carroll. It was both challenging and enjoyable to rehears the poem again and again until I came up with this final (and shamefully editted version) of a reading. I had to go as far to reference other people on Vimeo and Youtube to see how they read the poem before I found my own voice. Its funny how easy it is to go for the more dramatic reading of poetry rather than reading it casually you would like a book.
